During the course, a combination of hands-on experience added with theoretical background is offered. After completing this course, you're able to provide biofeedback training in your own health care setting with the use of your multimodal NeXus equipment.
You'll learn about the basic concepts of biofeedback, it's working mechanisms and the body's reaction to (chronic) stress. You'll learn all you need to know about physiological signals and how to measure them with your NeXus system. Modalities covered in this course are EMG, Heart rate, Skin Conductance, Peripheral temperature and Respiration. A short introduction is offered for HRV and Stress Profiling.
As a therapist, you'll learn all about how to add biofeedback to your clinical practice. What applications benefit from biofeedback, how to set up a biofeedback training and your role as a biofeedback therapist.
